![]() I understand the reason and trust me I thought about it a lot and decided that given I know to watch for blood sugar drops and I do have another puppy and maybe a 3rd puppy that will be in the home to guide her in rights and wrongs that maybe my case was a little different then her going to a house with no puppies, I also got her the cuddle dog that has the heartbeat like her mom... I know it is still not the same but I am trying my best to do the best for her given I am getting her early.

I really did not think were going to approve me since they had already turned down 4 other people that day.

| ![]() Ok then let's just end this conversation by saying you think I am not respecting the breed and do not even care about my pup before I even get her that I am selfish and getting any puppy I can as fast as I can by a crappy breeder.. There subject closed!!!... Now with that being said I will still love my little girl to death and spoil her rotten and not once will I let others thoughts or opinions nor facts of what is believed to be right or wrong destroy my families happiness of adding a little girl playmate for my Guinness... So what that subject is closed.

| ![]() I'm not trying to take sides here, but I just wanted to say, IMO, a breeder who is a member of the YTCA letting puppies go at 8 weeks bc they are the last litter they are having is a little peculiar to me. It's their last litter ever, what's another 4 weeks? If it were me, I'd hang onto those pups until they were 8 months! Just thinking out loud.

| ![]() I do understand the reasoning behind leaving a yorkie until 12 weeks but I also have to say that Laddy who came alas from a puppy mil was brought home at 9 weeks and was so easy to train and adjust here. He does although have anxiety issues when left alone. Kyra we got at 12 weeks and she was harder to house break and stop from nibbling at our fingers. She is now though the most laid back polite well mannered baby we could ask for. I think a lot of breeders are still old school and feel that an 8 week old is the right age to ween. All that being said Amanda I wish you tons of joy with your baby girl.
