| Gracie is just long coated. I did, for the very first time this year, let the groomer cut her length to just below her belly and taper her legs so that it all looked right. She has already grown it all out and I will leave it that way until summer. I think my groomer gets a little frustrated because she does not get to do much when I take Gracie there. She is so accustomed to doing a lot of shaving and trimming. I do trim Gracie's feet, ears and her butt and sometimes I let the groomer round out around her face. She likes to trim her moustache but I have let that grow out now, too. I don't mind giving her the weekly bath and the daily grooming to keep her looking good. That's why I love long haired dogs. Their coats are so beautiful. I guess if I had to deal with a "cotton" coat it would be a different story. |

| We rarely cut Bailey other than underneath where I like to keep it shorter. I also adjust his little paws so they're not too furry. Occasionally I'll trim back his ear fur as well. |

| My Belle is in full coat. It's not hard to maintain because her coat is silky and slow growing. I have only ever tipped her ears. I bathe her weekly and brush her daily. I love the look of yorkies in full coat. But I fully understand why some people have their yorkies coats cut and think they look cute with short hair, too.

| 2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | I prefer a modified schnauzer cut for my two gals Ruby & Brandi who are the hardest to keep tangle free. Quincy since he is older gets a shorter cut and Miah is in a full coat. Below is a pic of Ruby in her first ever Modified Schnauzer cut. I have worked with it some and sometimes leave her head longer for those bows and such. You cant tell in this pic but her tail is shaved too. Ruby is a cotton coat and the cut looks much better on her than it does Brandi. Brandi on the other hand has more of the silky coat and the cut looks much different on her. There are a few mor pic of Ruby in my Photo Albums ....
