Here is Ginger. I won't post what she looked like before. It was bad. Her hip bones were sticking out so far. And her neck was so tiny. DH found her eating dirt.

Ahhhh sweet and lucky girl!!! Poor thing eating dirt. These stories make me so sad as they are such innocent babies depending on us to keep them alive and well.

I know. I mean really??? Why would you do that!! DH found her. He came home with her in the truck and told me that he just couldn't leave her. She has been a good dog!! She loves belly rubs!!

Just like I know this sweet baby looking for a home would love them too!!

If they didn't want the dog anymore why couldn't they have at least taken her to a shelter. I hate shelters but she would have been fed and potentially adopted!!! Maybe she was meant to find your hubby; if she wasn't in such a bad state he wouldn't have noticed her and taken her home. His long has she been with you ?

I can't imagine giving up a senior dog! How could someone just dump a dog they have had for almost a decade? Are people like this the most heartless people in the world? They can't have any feelings at all.

It said his mom and dad were sick when they gave him up. Maybe they were older? I am not sure. Just so sad I know.

Gosh, we have had her since this summer. I guess about 6 months??? I am not sure. She was meant to be with us. We just lost our outside dog and I swore I wasn't getting another. And along came Ginger. My guess is God was telling me that I really did need another one.
