|  I agree with everybodfy. This dog needs a great deal of love and understanding. He's been tosses around like a football all of his short life and he's having a trust issue. Keep up the love and please don't give up on him. He needs you so much |

| Hi Welcome to Yorkie Talk, I am so glad you found our community, sadly I don't have much advice for you, but I wanted you to know that your story touched my heart and I am so happy that you have taken him in and are showing him so much love. Hang in with Goofy and stay active with Yorkie Talk because there is so much good advice on here and many that have been involved with rescue dogs post on YT.

| Thank you everyone for your kind comments!  I'm very glad I found this community!!Goofy is doing so much better, he started trusting me and my boyfriend- not in everything - but he is trying! We still have some issues, like he will try to bite if my boyfriend comes close to me not all the time, we cant understand why he only does it sometimes. But we love him so much and he'll be fine he just needs more time! Thank you all! |

| welcome to yt and thank you for saving goofy but mostly for being good people who understand he has come from a bad situation it is takes time and consistency to help him be in a better place. good luck prayers that things only continue to improve.

It seems you and your boyfriend have a lot of love, compassion and patience with this little boy, he is very lucky as I'm sure you realize how lucky you are too You are doing great and you will see very little will come close to the happiness and love your yorkie will give you

| Give him all the love you can. He will learn that you do love him and he will begin to trust you. It is so sad that he had to go through all of that to find a person to love him. He will come around and you will all of sudden notice he is loving you back. |

| What a wonderful thing you have done. I would suggest that your boyrfriend be the one to feed goofy. Dogs seems to bond with the one who feeds. You can also use romaine lettuce as treats instead of anything with calories. Mine loves it and the calorie content is next to nothing.
