| Donating YT 3000 Club Member | I know that is why I asked her how big the pup as. I wasn't sure if that was the birth weight or the actual weight now. She has not been on since. |

| I am confused also. It may be me but the dates and the weight just doesn't add up to me. I wish you the very best, but please just be aware of where this pup is from and who you are supporting to purchase this pup.

| Are you sure she just weighs 10oz? That seem so small for even a pet store to allow her to go home with you. I also can't believe they have given her those shots weighing 10oz. Please please take her to a good vet to be checked out. |

| I have not seen the actual weight on the charts, this is merely what they are telling me. Honestly, she looks bigger despite the weight that they are telling me. |

| I would be asking lots of questions and want to see records if you are set on this puppy we probably wont change your mind. Just be aware that tiny's are a continual work even if well bred. One this tiny I if the weight is correct I would be majorly concerned about hydro and other health issues. ls lp etc please think about this very seriously to save yourself alot of heartache later.

| not sure how locked into this puppy you are, my advice is to post the name of the pet store and several people here know how to search on where the store gets their puppies from. Chances are you are also paying an arm and a leg for the dog and if so should have the right to know the full background. I know you don't know much about Yorkie Talk but most people here will advise you against purchasing from pet stores and the reason behind that is like others said just about every pet store buys their dogs from a pet mill type of organization, some even bring them in from places like Korea. Even though pet stores tend to sell pet mill puppies they ask top dollar. I know this is hard to hear after you have you heart set on a puppy, and especially since that is not what you came on here for, but in the long run if you take this time to read threads here you might feel differently. I have been on here less than a year but I have lost count on the number of people that have posted "I wish I knew then what I know now and I never would have bought from a pet store" You might even want to call a few vets for their opinion but not the one that the pet store recommends, also google pet store dogs and see what the comments pull up. Good luck to you and welcome to Yorkie Talk

| It is going to sound very stupid but take a human weight scale with you to the pet store and weigh yourself and then you and the puppy and see the weight for yourself. I told you it would sound stupid but that way you will know for sure of the weight instead of taking there work. |

| Donating YT 3000 Club Member | Maybe it was the weight the puppy was when born? The place should have a scale. Go there and have them weigh the pup in front of you. But I really agree with everyone. If you can get out of this you should. I think that if you go to YTCA website there is a list of breeders there that you can get a healthy pup and a guarantee. |
