Does your yorkie "talk"?

Celine is very vocal, sometimes overboard. I don't mean barking, when she has something she wants or needs she does not give up. But I think my favorite is when she makes her Hu???? sound. She tilts her head sideways when she does it, too cute!!!

Your description of Tibbe Yorkie Talking sounds just like my Scooter. Scooter also laughs all the time. Sometimes Scooter talks WAY too much, especially when i get home from work, he talks and talks to tell me all about the day he had when I was gone. Seems like he talks even more on the day the cleaning lady comes, I think to myself that Scooter is probably trying to tell me Gloria the cleaning lady chased him around the house with the broom, lol.

Ha! Scooter just has the look of an opinionated talker! I love the fact Yorkies are so vocal and try so hard to communicate all the time. It is so cute, isn't it, to see them down there on the floor just chatting on with their various ways of vocalizing. Tibbe will stand in the window on the sill and just mutter on about things going on outside. He couldn't shut up to save himself. My son's dog is an American Bulldog who is just the opposite - the strong, silent type. He'll moan when he sees a squirrel or cat outside or bark, of course, but otherwise, he's quiet as a mouse. And there is Tibbe right beside him just clicking, clucking,chortling, growling, yowling, half-barking - a noise factory. Makes you wonder why the little guys are so vocal, doesn't it?

My boy uses his breath to talk, which makes me laugh. If he's contented he makes a lot of breathing noise. He also makes a noise when he needs the toilet.

It is very nice to know other Yorkies are talking lots too. Pao sighs when he is contented, does the fake sneeze when he wants something, and talks to me when he is really desperate or frustrated. It sounded like a long version of mommmmyyyyy..I usually end up laughing at him because he sounds so cute and funny and I think he doesn't like me laughing at him. I can also see his facial expression when he really wants something and usually after that, he gets his way... Love the little man.
