| ![]() It sounds like Tribbe is quite the watch dog. I don't think he would get much sleep at all around here. In the summer I sleep with the window open in the bedroom unless it's really hot. Gracie will hear the critters prowling around out there and run over to the window at the bottom of the bed to stand guard. When I first got her I pushed one edge of the bed up against the wall so she wouldn't fall off the bed. Now she feels that window is her guard station. Sometimes she will hear something on the patio and run out to the patio door to check things out. She barks if there is something actually on the patio. Of course she has to let me know if one of the cats wants to be let in. I honestly don't know how I ever managed without her around to tell me what to do! I have noticed that she is much more active in the evening now. I guess an active summer of guarding at night time has set her clock off a bit. Maybe that is why she likes to sleep late in the morning! ![]() |
