Thanks for the great info. I love the Yorkie Breed. I had a Yorkie/Pek mix for 17 years. she was afraid of nothing and loved to go out with me on water, ect. She passed 3 years ago and Im ready for another. Id like to stay with the Yorkie breed this time. I guess Im just a little concerned that when they are so tiny I have to be extra cautious with their little bones. So the size concern I have is for this reason. Im glad to read that the breed is strong and muscular.

My Avery is one year old this month and is 10.5#. I am just wondering when I can expect him to be fully grown? I hope this doesn't sound stupid, but I am new to this puppy thing I thought he was big for a Yorkie but I see now they come in all sizes (just like people LOL)

Thanks everyone for the great information. I can see there are alot of great mommies out there. Im glad you understand my concerns. My last dog was a yorkie/pek mix that lived 17years. She passed 3 years ago. She had alot of health issues but still lived to 17. She loved to go out on the water with me. She was an amazing dog. I am now looking at adoption too. From this site I found some great Florida rescues. I wish I could show you a picture of my dog but I cant seem to upload a pic it says its too large even when I made it smaller. Blessing to you all. Happy Holidays. (I guess its close enough to start saying that) LOL
