Bless her little heart. She is such a cutie. I hate when people mistreats them.I am glad she is going to go somewhere where she is going to be treated like the princess she is.

but her poor body with those mats, it just makes me want to cry for her

I sprayed her with a detangler and slowly worked her back, so is doable, is going to take me sometime to get her coat in decent shape, but I know I can do it. she is in bed now..
I am going to rest now tomorrow is another day, here's some pictures I took .. she is such a mess...

THANK YOU!! I will give the corn starch a try today.. she hid behind her EX, she had me go to his parents house to pick up Zoey, her excuse was that they live closer to me and she was going to drop Zoey there yesterday morning. I got to talk to the guy and his mother, and his mother loves Dexter so I just saw Dexter and said how well he was and grabed Zoey and left.

Carmen I echo everyone else, when I say I am glad she is back with you for now. I know you can place her in a loving forever home.
No matter how carefuly good breeders place these precious babies, we can not predict the future. Life changes happen, divorce, death, changing health, loss of income, job changes, moving, addation of another human to take care of (a baby, grandchild or even an elderly parent) a dog is returned. Thank You for being there for Zoey ! I know she will be back to fabulous, after all is said and done Zoey has a wonderful background !

thank you ladies, yes I know, is just upsetting for me.. ok, after 2hrs working on her coat, with the corn starch, I decided to shave her, her coat was matted to the skin, and her skin was red and irritated, the coat was brittle and dull, she has never been groomed so she was very excited and crying, after a good shave, a good silky coat shampoo she is in her crate sleeping, and I am finally having another cup of coffee. i will take pictures of the almost new Zoey later today..

That is quite a mass of mats on her back. Poor thing. She looks like she is happy to be there. At least they did bring her back to you. So glad she will be free of those mats soon.

This is got to be one of breeder’s worst nightmares. Even when you think someone will be a good pet owner, you really can’t be certain. So glad you have this type of return policy, I’d hate to think what would happen if you hadn’t taken her? This is another reason, it’s good for breeders to sell locally; they are more lightly to get them back, and not have them go to the pound should something happen. Hope you find a wonderful loving home for Zoey!
