could have mixed merle pomeranians in with a yorkie too. I looked at the breed when I was deciding what kind of dog I wanted. I seem to remember reading that double merles can be born without eyes at all

On her nonsales fb page she has yorkies chis and what looks like doxies all in merle.

4 generations back bred for the color back to yorkies...no such thing as a merle yorkie they're selectively bred chorkies...

This breeder even after admittibg it later tried to deny it, therefore I don't view her as reputable she only admitted the liniage to thise she thought would be interested in breeding the in Ametica getting them AKC recognition...this is fraud IMHO.

I'm glad the off standard color breeders took no interest, they are only interested in actually natural occuring yorkie color variations

Very interesting subject to me, thanks all for the good information. I know that this color is not accepted in a yorkie, if you go to AKC and check out the breed standards you will see what is accepted. I am no expert on this subject, but recently was asked about blue yorkies. I told them from what I had heard they have many health issues and it is NOT an accepted color for a yorkie. Now I will be able to give them more information, thanks all. I learned more about a subject I did not know about, and every time I learn something new it is a great day.
