Aw you are welcome, I know its hard to deal with.. it is never easy when are babies are sick AND on top of it have to stay in the hospital!! You are doing all that you can for your sweet baby, that's all you can do!

So glad to hear she is doing better, fluids is an amazing thing!! Hopefully we get a better update tomorrow!!

I went to see her yesterday in hopes that she could come home......i got her to eat a little, but then she threw it up so they needed to keep her on the fluids again overnight last night and today have been really hard on me. I almost had a anxiety attack this morning, the anticipation is killing me. She was so happy to see me yesterday, i cried when i had to leave. Ive been praying so much for her. Im going up there in a few hours to meet the girl up there and try to feed her and see if she keeps it down, also i think they want to run another blood test to see where her levels are now. I really am hoping to take her home tonight, if not I dont know how i'm going to get through tomorrow.

I guess it is pretty common to have at least a 2 to 3 day stay when they get really sick with this nasty thing. So sorry she had to stay longer. I don't know how I would deal with it either. These little dogs are like our babies. Gracie has never been away from me except when she was spayed and that was only for a few hours. I'll be praying for both of you to have some peace. I'll bet she is sleeping most of the time when you are not there.

I know it is terribly difficult to have your baby away from you but it really is in her best interest to be on IV fluids at the vet. I've been just where you are. My girl was in for a week! I was miserable!!. My vet let me or my Mom come sit and hold Gracie during the hours they were open. You don't want her to come home too quick and have a relapse. That would be much worse than the time she is spending away from you now. Think positive thoughts and stay busy.
