Deception In Georgia

It is very hard to get a nice yorkie pup here in GA. This is one reason I bought from others outside of GA and used the Internet to find reputable show breeders, so I would know what I was getting. When I lived in Florida it was not so hard. There are a few really good breeders here in GA.but they are few and far between. I know what a good yorkie looks like from the years of experience I had before from showing and being a member of a yorkie club in FL. So when we decided to get a yorkie again (and my kids were older and after being here in GA a while) - we looked everywhere. I saw very very large yorkies, ones with health problems, ones with very rough terrier coats, no champions in pedigrees, bad teeth, ones I couldn't even tell they were yorkies - but the breeder said they were. I must have driven all over this state. Ava has great yorkies and very reputable, but didn't have any pups at that time. I later decided if I was going to show - it would be best if I had a different line than hers anyways - just to be a little different. So I know what you mean.
