| ![]() I think he is very cute. I think the t word is used to warn the potentual furever family of possible problems with small dogs not as a way to get more money etc. To a group that has larger dogs a possible 5 lbs seams almost unreal tiny. Because it is a rescue I would say go for it.. can you go in person? I would be careful about shipping and such (I am sure you know that) Also .. know like the others said .. this wonderful little guy could gown to look more like a pug or a chi then a yorkie and be a bit bigger..but he will have a heart and personality to love ![]()

| ![]() This has probably already been decided by now. I just saw the post and had time to reply. If the rescue is real, I don't see a problem. I have written about dogs when I am given a photo and SDS (Statistics Data Sheet). I may never meet the dog in person. If I was not a Yorkie person the terms teacup, tiny, mini and so on could be used as descriptive words. It is my job to arrange the facts in a way that will appeal to the public. We want people to come and see this dog and if it is gone perhaps find another they can love. Example of SDS : Dog, name: Coal, sex: male, age: puppy, Altered: No, breed: yorkie/ pug mix, Health: good, Shots: up to date, Temperament: playful and likes attention. Comments: this puppy is very small, As an adult probably under 10 pounds. No under coat and will most likely require grooming. Seems cat friendly. Born here at rescue on May 15, 2010.
