| Tummy ache and grass I was wondering if it's better to let them eat grass when they feel sick or should you try not to. Poor Joel feels sick tonight, he was asleep under my blanket, like always, and he woke me when he jumped up and crawled out and was sitting there staring at me, which is strange bc he doesn't go potty after he's in bed. So I took him out anyway and he just ran out and started eating grass and was acting like he didn't feel well so I tried to distract him and get him back to bed. After a few minutes of acting uncozy, he finaly wiggled his way under my blanket with his chin resting on my leg Now that I remeber what could have made him sick, he had some asparagus(his fav)some nectarine and a few peices of corn, all things he had before but this time it was all at once So I hope he feels better in the morning |

| Callie eats grass but I tell her to stop because Sammy my moms yorkie was going poo one time and pooed a long piece of grass that got stuck and had to be pulled out it was so gross but it 100% looks the same as it did when it went in and it was so long I worry it could have wrapped around something inside him or blocked him up.

| As long as the grass is not treated w/chemicals, it should be fine. There's the grazer (Princess), some even seek out certain long blades of grass (Turbo). I always tell them no, drop it & they spit it out. I think they get enough plants from their food (honest kitchen) loll. I also read that if they eat too much grass, they'll vomit. Quote:

| Jackson eats grass ALL the time lol. He loves it. He's just a grazer. He usually does it when he's over excited and exercising a lot though, I almost wonder if he's getting the moisture out of it. But I can tell when he's eating grass because his stomach is sick. It's only happened 2-3x in his lifetime, but when he races out and is not picky about which grass he eats, and just is non-stop eating violently, I know his stomach hurts and he will puke. I let him. I know I feel better when I am about to throw up and it finally comes out, so I don't want to stop him. Here is a good video on grass eating:
