Many thumbs down here, once again Off topic, by more than one. I thought we were moving on from this type of exchange?? OP I think we all agree that diapers are not a great substitute for training, as explained in varying different ways from by each poster. Whichever way you decide will be the best way for you to train your pup. Perhaps you could try the pads in a smaller pen or bigger crate, because this has been proven to be a successs for many others. Not a guarantee but a good first option. Also, many here have talked about the "Puppy Apartment" as an excellent tool as it has a divider and for some reason has a high success rate. I did the xpen but made it smaller and my pups are both trained for peepads only, this works for my lifestyle, may not work for yours. I wish you luck! Keep us posted! |
Guys - some of the tone in this thread is looking to have questionable intention. Come on, be better than that; is that really an unreasonable thing to ask? If you disagree with someone or think their post reads "off", you can express that in a calm, respectable manner. And if you can't, we can help you take a break from YT for a while. Fair enough :)? |

The chain of events is *not* any one person's fault - however, if you're going to ask to be treated respectfully, you darn well better do your best to give the same - even when you feel you've been disrespected. |

I like the name Stella a lot. Its very girly and sassy. Once you can get a crate that is small enough for her, you can help her to train her bladder. I swear Max peed all the time when he was a little pup. Now he can go 8 hours which is awesome for a little one. I hope you stick around and learn lots. Usually, this is a very good place for learning. Congrats! |
