For me I am not a fan of belly bands or diapers. Belly bands didn’t work for us- Peanut would just pee (mark) in them and I felt it didn’t teach him anything. When we go places instead of putting that belly band on I watch him and make sure he doesn’t do anything naughty. I never tried diapers, but I feel it doesn’t teach the dog anything. They are just able to go pee whenever they feel like it. For a puppy I feel the owner should teach them the boundaries, you should start training them and teaching them where they can potty and where they can’t. Using diapers and belly bands is just masking the problems. |

I would just teach your dog housebreaking using the crate method for confinement when you can't observe her, a good regular schedule and leave off diapers or other human things animals don't need in order to develop good instincts and to learn. Dogs do sometimes soil their bed but over time learn not to do it if they lean this is their bed. They don't keep it up for very long. |

Come on guys. We all have something in common: we love our furbabies. |
Takes TWO to tango .. I wish everyone would learn that. |
