| Help! My daughter accidentally stepped on my 15 week yorkie. He wont walk on right le Hi. Im new to this. First pet. My daughter accidentally stepped on my yorkies front right leg. He will not put it down now. He seems tired and sad. Im very scared. He just wants to be held. If i try and move his right arm he whimpers a bit. He ate some food this morning and had a poo outside but he hasnt had a pee. His shoulder feels a bit swollen but the bones feel ok. Should i take him to vet? Has anyone gone thru this!!!! |

| Please take him to the vet. His leg could be fractured.

| Oh your poor daughter. I'm sure she is so upset. But, it will be ok. Just reassure her. I can't tell you how many times I stumbled over my Presley when he was a puppy. He was always underfoot. She will learn to be extra careful and always look down before walking. I had to learn that myself. I do hope your baby is ok. Keep us updated. Hope to see some pics soon!

| If you can't get your vet, take her to the nearest animal hospital. Beamer needs immediate care. Please reassure your daughter that this type of accident can happen. It takes some time to get used to having a little furbaby under foot. Let us know what happens. I'll keep Beamer and your family in my thoughts and prayers! Good luck. Tracey |

| so sorry to hear this, it's very hard with small puppies they tend to get right under you feet, I have had them plop down on top of my feet when standing at the sink and so forth. Once you find out what is wrong and you bring him home, you might want to get a collar with a bell, it helps if you can hear the dog. My sister, as an adult stepped on her yorkie's foot when she was getting up off the couch and broke it. I have rolled over the tip of Lola's tail with my office chair, since she will some times lay right under it, so accidents do happen even to us adults. I just hope your baby will be ok and that it is just a bruise or a sprain.
