| She has a very sweet face and would look cute anyway. However, it is not what you wanted and not what you asked for. I'm amazed they had the nerve to hand her to you after your request. This kind of thing always strikes a nerve with me because the same thing happened to me, and probably thousands of other pet owners. I had taken Gracie to a groomer that I used to go to just to have my Shih Tzu's nails done. She did a great job the first time I took Gracie there. The second time Gracie was just getting to where I could put her topknot in without having to have it so close to her eyes. Just getting some good length and I was so happy with it. When I took her in the lady was grooming another dog. She never stopped to pay much attention to what I was saying but she kept saying things like, "yes" "OK" "alright." I told her specifically that I did not want her topknot touched at all and not her face either. I just wanted her length evened out at the ends and her paws and behind trimmed up. "OK!" she says to me and had me put her in the cage myself. When I came back to get her the owner was not there. Her daughter handed me Gracie with a stub of a topknot and her face shaved up. I was so angry. I had handed the new bow and grooming bands to the owner before I left and specifically mentioned how glad I was that I could finally put them in her long topknot without so much trouble. Not only did she hack up the top of her head she never bothered to do her feet or trim her length! What I found out is that "owner" was too busy to do Gracie and let her daughter do her. The daughter is not much more than a teenager and seemed very proud of what she had done. I was FURIOUS!!! As anyone who has ever gone through the months it takes to get a full topknot grown out will agree, this is a trial and heartbreaking. Some may think it is being over sensitive but I was beyond upset. I barely spoke to to the owner's daughter and owner was conveniently not home. I feel it was more the owners responsibility than her daughter's. I never had any idea that her daughter even touched the dogs much less bathed and cut their hair! So that is when I started doing my own grooming. I did finally find a very trustworthy person that I take Gracie to occasionally but she came highly recommended and I did not leave Gracie alone the first 2 times I took her there. They always call me as soon as she is done and it usually only takes an hour to an hour and a half depending on what needs to be done. All I can say is that most groomers do not have a clue about what they are doing. Taking a picture may help but if the person is unskilled it may not result in the desired look. Never leave you baby with a so called "groomer" who will not let you stay and watch. Pick a day when you have some time. You don't want your little one stuck in a small cage for hours on end until they get to her/him. |

| She is ADORABLE! It should grow out quickly but you may want to try a puppy grooming gel to help hold it back as you wait! |
