| 2 days and counting Molly's new Mom will be here Saturday Morning to take her to her new home and my eyes have been full of tears. I know I am doing the right thing for Molly as she will finally get to see again and that is the best gift anyone could ever give her. I am just so attached to her and I love her so much and this just really hurts. I will continue to foster these precious fur babies and I am sure I will continue to cry when they find their forever homes but for some reason Molly is just so hard to let go of. Maybe it is remembering all of her first. The first time she touched the grass and was freaked out by it. The first time she actually felt comfortable in my lap. The first time she gave me kisses. She truly is an amazing little girl to come from the puppy mill life that she lived and to be so loving and trusting now. I mean after all, it was humans who treated her so badly but yet she still has love and trust for the race. What a remarkable little girl. I wish people could wake up and see what puppy mills are truly all about.

| It is amazing...to watch an abused animal become a loving, trusting pet. I know what you mean. You are doing yet another good thing for her...heartbreaking as it is for you. You will never be far from her love and memories, though...I swear...they never forget you! I am sending you lots of hugs to help you through this difficult time. She's really precious!

| I know how heart breaking it is to let a Foster go to their forever home. BUT just know, Molly is where she is today in her progress because of your love and devotion to her. You taught her about love and that humans are good. Sending you lot's of hug's.

| You did such a wonderful thing for Molly! It is hard letting go of fosters, but if you don't... You won't be able to help any other dogs.

| You all are very comforting, thank you. I never even noticed that Molly has no hair on her ears when I first got her and now she has long beautiful hair. She has surely come a long way. I will post pics of her new Mom if she allows me

| You are such a good foster Mommy to little Molly. Always remember that it was because of you that she was able to love life again. Sends lots of hugs and puppy kisses. I'm sure Molly's 2nd Mommy will love giving you updates!

| I have never fostered a Yorkie but I have taken in more than my share of stray and abandoned dogs and cats here. Our private shelter is full most of the time so when another dog or cat ends up in my backyard I have had to do what needs to be done for them. I have embarrassed myself more than once by crying almost uncontrollably when the new owner comes to take them home. One couple felt so bad for me that they offered not take the little one. There I was sobbing over the little creature I had hand fed as a baby because the mom did not have enough milk. You do get attached after going through so much with these poor creatures. I know I can't keep them all but always have that motherly attachment that is hard to break. I hope you will be able to part with Molly without too much heartbreak. You know you have done your best for this one and now she is going to her new life and you will be able to help another one soon. |
