| Finicky Yorkie I just bought my first Yorkie named Bindi...and I am in love already. However, we are having issues with her eating. The breeder feed her boiled chicken and now she won't eat anything else! Any suggestions? |

| Boiled chicken only is not a balanced nutritious diet. You need to ween her off that chicken little by little and have her on kibble or a balanced raw or home cooked diet. A dog cannot live on chicken alone. Also if you give in to a picky dog, all you are doing is making them pickier.

| Try mixing the chicken with some softened kibble and gradually reduce the amount of chicken each meal.

YT Addict | I agree with previous posters. Chicken alone is not a diet that will give your fur baby all the nutrients that are needed. I would mix the chicken with kibble like nanahas3 said.

| Bad breeder for not feeding a balanced diet. Pick a dog food you like, mix with the chicken and slowly phase out the chicken . I would pureed the chicken to that it will coat the kibble and not be as easy for the furrbutt to pick out.

There are also home-cooked diets, but it's a lot of work and you have to get the balance just right. I used to homecook for my two when they were puppies, but it just got to be too much for me, plus they started not eating it. You can get a recipe from your vet if you choose to homecook. There are some supplements that you'd need, but nothing too drastic. Good luck
