| Leather Ear So, Ellington came to me with black leather ears and nose. He had no hair on his ears or nose bridge. I read quite a lot of threads on here about it, but had decided to leave it while he settled in. But actually, all the hair is now growing back. All of his ears are covered in new fur, as well as his nose. So, perhaps it's also linked to stress and/or food? |

I am sure stress or diet could be the cause, particularly if an adult. I support a puppy mill rescue lady and a lot of the dogs she gets have fur loss. Louise | |

| Lolita had it when we got her also and after a couple of weeks of cleaning with alcohol and medicating it her hair also came back. I think there are many who aren't as lucky.

| Its odd, I didn't treat it at all! The baby hairs are cute, but its really changing what he looks like! I used to like his black ears, and now they're brown, he's a different dog! |
