| The car seat you posted, I was thinking about getting that one, it's 48.00 on the Petsnap site, my question is, my console is short, meaning it doesn't extend out like an armrest, would this seat not work? I want my baby to be able to see outside. |

What kind of car do you have? I have a Tahoe and while it's a little hard to explain, the console kinda has a concave top so I put a folded up small towel underneath the front end of the carseat to keep it from leaning forward but the seat is the same length as my console. The reason I liked this one so much is that someone can sit in both the driver and passenger seat and she still has her space in the middle. If you want (I can't remember what kind of description they give for the car seat), I can measure the length of the seat and my console and get back to you. Would you like me to do that?

| I have an 05 Nissan Altima. I call it the console but it's really a wide armrest that is between the driver/passenger seat. Thank you for offering to measure for me, but I can do that. My baby weighs around 2 1/2 lbs, do you think he'll outgrow the seat soon, he's only 3 1/2 months, so still lots of growing to do. |

| If your car has what I'm picturing in my mind, I don't think this seat would work. It actually needs a hard, fairly straight console to sit on. I do love it though because she's close enough for me to pet, can see out the window and it doesn't take up people space. As for the size, Tatum is a year old and weighs about 3.5 lbs but I don't think a pup much bigger than that would be real comfortable. Good luck in your search - I know there are all kinds of seats out there to pick from.
