I never put clothing on a dog in my life until I got Gracie. She was always curling up in my lap or wrapping herself around a cat during her first winter. We have heat in our home but being that she was so close to the floor she would get chilled very easily. Your pup may get a bit of a thicker coat as it gets it's adult coat but more than likely it will not be thick. If you let it grow out it will part down the back and continue to grow long. If you don't want to have to deal with daily grooming you may have a groomer cut down the coat but you are going to have to deal with keeping that little one warm when the temp drops. | |

| I had the same exact problem with Sam. The vet gave me shampoo specifically for oily skin. The shampoo was too harsh, it left his skin red and inflamed looking. I went back to the vet and was given a very gentle shampoo and it is working so much better. |

| I also use the Douxo shampoo on Magic for his skin but Magic goes to a skin Doctor and that is where I buy it. I also use Yorkie splash and shine which I love but have not used in awhile because I did not know if it would be OK. Maybe I will try to use every other bath and see what happens. |
