| My Abby is 2 1/2 lbs and 2 years old...the breeder said she would probably be 3-3 1/2 lbs, but she stayed tiny...she seems normal size to me, but everyone comments that she's so small....I love her to death no matter what size she is! |

| I had two. One passed but Sparkey was about 14-16 lbs and Tuffey has been as heavy as 20 lbs. He's now 18 lbs. Both were sooooo tiny when they were pups. |

| Every "tiny" that born here at Rosehill, is kept here...fortunately, with the efforts put into pedigree study and combining correct breeding pairs, I am fortunate to hit the breed standard with 90% of my babies! So, I only have 4 "tinies".... a very wide range of pet weights that go from 2.5 lbs to 4.5 lbs....my ladies and gentlemen that are the heart of this breeding business, range in weight from 6 lbs to 8 lbs.....and then there is the magnificent Parquin that I thought I was going to be able to add to my lines...shall we say, he has "blossomed" into a small cow, and he is too large to even cover any of my females with....and the breeder I got him from, Yorkmont Yorkshire Terriers, will not only not compromise on his $3500.00 selling price as a stud, down to $2000.00 for this HUGE Yorkie, she wont send me the papers so I can at least TRY to AI this boy and see if I can cross him with a pedigree that will pull that size down....She wont even respond to my emails. He weighs anywhere between 15-17 lbs, depending on how many treats he gets! So...see, even reputable breeders that have done all the studying and planning, can get caught by other reputable breeders that realize they have made out like a bandit, and managed to sell a dog that should have been sold priced as a pet for the price of a stud! |

| Calleigh is 5 and weighs almost 6 lbs. I'm trying to keep her weight under 6 lbs. She has had problems with LP [luxating patella] and will need another surgery on her right leg in the not to distant future.
