It could be something as simple as the time of day the spay was done. Many vets do spays early in the morning when they know the pet will be going home the same day, so the pet is more fully recovered at the time of pick up.

Laser surgery has one major benefit as the cuts are cauterized at the exact time they are made, so there is no blood loss involved.

Well she's doing quite a bit better this morning.
We've fawned and gushed over her, lavishing her with attention, treats and all her favorite things. I think she's milking it for all it's worth!

Poor baby! I am so glad my girl didnt need any baby teeth pulled. Don't know if her slightly larger mouth was why, or because she was quite a chewer when she was little. She loved to play tug of war with ropes, socks and toys. She is a yorkiepoo, so I think her nose is a little longer and she seems to have plenty of room for teeth.

I can't imagine how very many teeth fit in those little 2-3 pounders. The teeth must be tiny! Now I'm thinking....I thought the pulled teeth would be painful to recover from, but the teeth must be so tiny that they only get a tiny bit sore (no big hole like us people would get!)

Your baby is very cute.
