| [QUOTE=Nancy1999;3958104]Lol, what a funny story. Perfect example of why the word bothers me. Oh dear, now someone will spread the word that you are breeding "micro-teacups!" I thought of that just as I hit the go button...probably should have specified, "that was the only 6 pound "micro-teacup" I had ever sold!!! |

| I have that experience too. People always call my 6.8lb 1 and 1/2 year old yorkie a teacup and say how big my 10.3lb 4yr old yorkie is. and another thing that makes me crazy...people always comment on my "puppies." Just because I have small dogs does not mean that they are puppies forever. They are shocked when I comment on them being how old they actually are. |

| I guess whether or not a dog is a "teacup" size depends on how large the "teacup" is. If you take a St. Bernard or Great Dane or larger dog to Disney or the carnival to ride in the "teacup" ride and they fit, then those dogs would also be "teacup" size, wouldn't they...or am I missing something...somewhere...

We need a PICTURE of a great dane in one of those tea cup rides at Disneyland, and we could caption it "Teacup Great Dane".....and post it on Facebook....or on that place where they say it "goes viral"!!! | |

| I can't tell you how many times friends or people I'm around, just in general conversation, drop the "T" word, or some fancy mixed breed label. I just bite my tongue so I don't get off on a rant. My husband does not make it easy for me, because he always throws me this "look" because he knows I'm sitting there screaming in my mind--then I'm busy trying not to laugh at him, because he's busy trying to hide the fact that he's laughing at me. |

| Tea Soon, tea cup, tea pot, Mr. T ? I have started saying this; "All American Yorkies are classified in the Toy Group. Because all Yorkies are pretty small. I think it is breeds like Poodles that can be in different Groups. You know, Standard, Miniature, Toy, and Tea Cup, because they can be really big, in between, or really tiny." This has not offended anyone and often they ask questions to learn more about Yorkies. I feel better because I am educating, not just correcting. Maybe some day...........

YT 2000 Club Donating Member | It's a Canadian long weekend to celebrate Canada Day. And I truly think we are a tad different to my beloved American friends. For one thing, umm generally speaking we are a bit more reserved about a whole lot of things, including dumb ass comments. LOL Maybe I don't get the grief, cause usually Dave and I are walking our Yorkie with our Blackie; big n small. Most folks just pass us on by, well cause we do have a big big dog. Those that do stop, do so to admire our big boy Magic. Then of course they wouldn't think of denigrating Razz, this diminutive in terms of comparison to our Blackie. Of course it mayhap not be our dogs, but me!!
