My furkids Donating Member | ![]() I use peppermint oil (essential oil) mixed with water...I also read lemongrass oil will do the same thing...also repels ticks. 1 cup of water and 15-20 drops oil...mix in spray bottle...wet paper towel and wipe it all over the dog...avoid eyes. where this is not a chemical it has to be applied every couple of days...but its better than using chemicals....and it works! can also be used on people to keep mosquito's away

| ![]() I use 1/2 tube of K9Advantix II on each of my girls every 30 days and do not bath them within three days of application. It repels bugwuggies. I also use Vets Best Flea and Tick spray on their bedding, carpets, furniture, etc. (It can be used on the dogs alone, or in addition to topicals).

| ![]() We had a huge flea problem the last few weeks. Got comfortis and haven't had a problem since. We put the pill in some coconut oil. Didn't even know it was there! now I'm giving Zyrtec in the coconut oil. Easy peazy.
