| I Got The Call! Hi, everyone While at work today I received a call from the breeder I got my Choppa from. She has a litter of 3 girls and 1 boy but when I called to tell her someone had stolen Choppa, she offered me first pick of her girls. I plan to go meet them tomorrow and see if any choose me as their new mom. They are 5 weeks but I will leave her with her mom until at least 11 weeks. I'm excited. But I have a question, what should i know about the ears? Choppa had huge ears on his little head I loved them, but what is the difference in the teeny ears I see? The babies will be 6 weeks on Monday. Mom is 6 pounds and dad is 4 pounds. Choppa was a perfect 5 pounds. Not too small to play with my other furr baby and I worried so much he would get hurt before he reached that weight. If I make it to meet them tomorrow I will share my experience and pictures. Now I need names. Lol My business is Ultimate Divatude so I'm thinking I will call her Diva though Shanti works that title for sure v

| I don't have any advice on the ears but wanted to say that I am glad the breeder is letting you get first pick of the girls. I know that you will find a perfect little Diva to bring home. Can't wait to see pictures.

| Thank you. You know how you notice things as you are looking at different puppies during a search, that's how I was. I thought what teeny ears you have. Lol. I loved Choppas wings. That's what I love about avi pic.

| Yes, I do know what you mean. When I got Rosie I had a choice of her or her brother. She was bigger than him but his ears looked HUGE. Lol. But it was because he was so tiny. She ended up weighing 5 1/2 lb and he was 2 lb full grown! They nick named him "Ears". Ha ha. Maybe it is because they are still little? I really am not sure. But I bet someone here will know.

| There is not much you can do about ears. It's all in the genes. Some Yorkies just have bigger ears. Apparently those who breed show dogs are breeding toward the smaller ear but that is something that involves a lot of excellent planning over many years. I'm sure you will love your new baby no matter what the ears look like. I'm so happy for you. |

| Jaeger's ears were not taped when he was a puppy, and now he has giant bat ears, which are totally not "standard" but I love them anyway |

| So sorry that you have not gotten Choppa back. I think that it is very nice of the breeder to offer you first pick. You will know your baby when you see her. Im looking forward to pictures and a story of how you picked each other out. |
