There is not much you can do about ears. It's all in the genes. Some Yorkies just have bigger ears. Apparently those who breed show dogs are breeding toward the smaller ear but that is something that involves a lot of excellent planning over many years.
I'm sure you will love your new baby no matter what the ears look like. I'm so happy for you.
