| Rain Rain Go Away Does anybody have big problem getting their furbabies to go out in the rain. Most of the time they go running out the door, but as soon as it rains they refuse to go out. |

YT 1000 Club Member | HA HA HA ! You are definitely NOT alone with this ! My two absolutely abhor the rain, and dash in with the first drop they feel. What the laughable part of this is... When I take them out hunting/jogging along the Bayou, they'll jump in after a Frog or Snake in a heartbeat, or, lay in a puddle of water to cool off regardless of it's cleanliness. I have to lay Potty Paper right in front of the Doggy Door, where they can potty while it's even misting. They will go out in the wet grass though, and the paper is a good blotter for their wet feet as they return.

| Well, actually Gracie uses pee pads when she can't go out so it's not a big issue with us but she does count on going for a walk several times a day. Yesterday I did not realize it had started to pour out and I got her harness and leash on her and opened the door......oh, no. She still wanted to go out! I don't know how far we would have gotten but I was not about to take her out in that...not even with her jacket on. I try to distract her. She knows it is time for a walk and will sit and stare at me with the puppy eyes trying to make me feel bad. Then she will start talking to me a little and that could turn into some barking if I don't distract her with a game of indoor fetch or something. Pee pads have been a life saver for me with this dog. The weather in this area is bad more than it is good and she does not like the cold. Hope your weather drys out some so you can enjoy your time outside. |

YT 1000 Club Member | My Male Sneakers is the world's worst about "reminding" you it's time to go out on the Leash/Harness. My Female Becca doesn't seem to care and just goes along for the company. When it's time to go (we have fairly regular schedule) he will sit/stand by the Harness/Reel Leashes, look at them, then back at me, then them, and do a little "yip" to get my attention. And he can really be a pest till I either take them, or say a firm NO. He usually gets his way though.

| Yes! Both of the Boys hate to go out when its raining, especially this past Saturday (flood day) when their fenced in yard had a "moat" around it! We wound up pulling the truck out of the garage and putting down pee pads in there for them. It was a LONG weekend! |
