| blue harness = little boy I purchased a light blue Buddy Belt for Sophie yesterday because it looks great with her current grey and cream colouring that she has right now (I just didn't care for the pale pink colour on her). There is also a hot pink colour available that I like that I could ask to be ordered in for me at the store that is also an option. My question is... Is everyone and their brother going to assume Sophie is a boy because of the blue harness? Does that happen to any of your little girls that wear blue collars or harnesses? Do you assume that?

| They probably will assume she's a boy, people are quick to judge like that. Put her in a dress or have a bow on her top knot, then maybe they won't be so quick to assume.

| People are really kind of dumb when it comes to that. Izzy and Luna both have pink harnesses, Izzy's has purple hearts on it, with a purple leash. She can even have a PINK DRESS on and people will still ask if she's a boy or girl I'm sure the light blue will be very pretty on your baby so who cares what others have to say. I'm sure there will be some dingbat who assumes she's a boy, but the heck with them

| Maggie wears a pink harness and Buster wears a black or blue harness. Most of the people we meet don't have a clue which one is a boy and which one is a girl. I've put the pink BB on Buster by mistake (right!) when we've been in a hurry to go somewhere. It doesn't matter what people think, put whatever color you want on her.

| Some may think she's a he Today I put a white & blue bow in ZoE's hair just cos I thought it looked cute against the blue of her paddling pool. Later I took her with me when I drove out to Tim Horton's to get a frozen lemonade. The girl that took my money asked if "he" would like a Timbit, and then the girl that brought me my lemonade said, "Aww, he's cute. Would he like a Timbit?" Of course, I said, thank you and "he" enjoyed her Timbit

| It really doesn't matter if anyone thinks she's a he....really?! When I was a toddler everyone thought I was a boy, and I turned out ok ;-) Ellington wears red and leopard print mainly, and people always ask if he is a boy or girl. |

| I have a blue puppia harness which I can now use in Molly cause she's a bit bigger. People still ask if she's a boy or girl so makes no difference.

| I know it was kind of a silly question to ask...the only reason I did was I couldn't believe it when my friend told me EVERYONE will assume she is a boy now because I bought her a light blue harness (she thought I was a nut bar for buying it and I started to feel bad for buying Sophie that colour). I know there are always going to be those people who will say "he" no matter what your little girl is wearing but I just wanted to hear from others what their opinion was because I really liked the blue and didn't believe my friend that everyone would assume that. Thanks again to everyone for your feedback!

Maybe...but some people would do that even if you had the word "GIRL" flashing in hot pink neon across her back. I dress Brody in non-pink colors and Mia in pink, ruffles, etc. Sometimes people get confused, but usually I just say "he's Brody and she's Mia" and they get it. Some will correct themselves and say something like, "oh right...I see the blue now..." however, nothing 'they' say changes the sex of my Yorkies. If she looks good in blue, dress her in blue. Dress her however you want, and regardless of how 'they' refer to her, continue to use the words "she" and "her" and to the moon with those who don't listen or comprehend. I like light blue...light denim blue...
