Maybe...but some people would do that even if you had the word "GIRL" flashing in hot pink neon across her back.
I dress Brody in non-pink colors and Mia in pink, ruffles, etc. Sometimes people get confused, but usually I just say "he's Brody and she's Mia" and they get it. Some will correct themselves and say something like, "oh right...I see the blue now..." however, nothing 'they' say changes the sex of my Yorkies.
If she looks good in blue, dress her in blue. Dress her however you want, and regardless of how 'they' refer to her, continue to use the words "she" and "her" and to the moon with those who don't listen or comprehend.
I like light blue...light denim blue...
