| whatever! i only got her yesterday. I have no intentions of taking her back. And no it will not keep me from loving her . I already do. i am just concerned because her coat doesn't look like any babies i have seen on here. However i did pay for a yorkie and feel like i should get a yorkie. and i very well could have. she is my first yorkie. i know the look varies but she is not fluffy like most i've seen and wanted someone's opinion.Sorry i thought that was what this board was for. | She looks yorkie to me. She is adorable. Just love her and enjoy her. I can't wait until we finally get our baby Chloe. Our possible puppy was supposed to be born yesterday. But, the lady still never called us back to let us know if they were born. But, since she has another litter due tomorrow she is probably extremly busy. We will try calling her again by late Saturday afternoon if we still have not heard anything. But, anyway, Libby is such a cutie! You will have so much fun this Christmas with her and I really like her name.

Yorkie Lover Donating Member | Libby is adorable...all yorkies look different when they are younger...as some have different coat textures so until she is a bit older, you will not be sure what kind her's will be!! No matter what she is just precious and her coat will grow out and be beautiful!!

| She is so very cute! I love her ears! She looks like a yorkie to me I have recently purchased a puppy, and even though I know she is AKC yorkshire terrier, sometimes I question it! I think it might be due to the money investment, no one wants to be ripped off! I think Libby is the cutest name, my little sister's name is Libby too |

| I think Libby looks very much like a yorkie- just like people, everyone has a slightly different look. You won't believe how much her appearance is going to change in the next year! Take lots of pictures!! I read somewhere that yorkies with the short, slow growing type of coats end up having the "true" yorkshire terrier coat. My girl, Mia, looked like your Libby when she was younger, I also have her brother, Leo, from the same litter. You wouldn't even know they are related- they are as different in looks and attitude as night and day! He was so very fluffy, and she was so very NOT. Don't worry- it just takes time to grow that yorkie coat. I understand where you are coming from, we pay a lot of money for one of these sweet babies, we don't want to be taken advantage of... since this is your first it is natural that you will have lots of questions about what is normal and what isn't. Welcome to Yorkie Talk, by the way! |

| She is so cutie!! Don't worry so much. Rocky had short, slick hair when he was 8 wks. Then with in a few weeks it he started to get fuzzy, and now his coat is getting long and wild. He is going to get trimed here soon. |

| I think she will change very quickly over the next couple of weeks. Maybe there is a little something else in there. Maybe not. There seems to be lots of variation in yorkies looks. Yorkie puppies definitely don't look anything like yorkie adults! Did you see any other puppies from her litter? The mom? The dad? Could she be younger than you were told? I got my yorkie really young (6 weeks) and she had pretty short slick fur. She had some larger brothers and sisters that were much fluffier. She didn't really look fluffy until about 12 weeks and even then she really was never as fluffy as many of the pics I see here. On a positive note, many people post about all the trouble they have keeping up with the matts on their fluffy cotton coated babies. You may luck out and get a very silky yorkie which should be easier to keep brushed out. My little one is pretty silky and never gets matted. Of course I am just finally growing her out long for the first time so we will see if things change. It will be fun watching Libby change over the next few weeks. Please post lots of pics for us. |

| Libby is beautiful, she is yours, and it clearly shows you love her by your posts. The unique thing about Yorkie's is they are all different yet similar. This is what makes them so darn special. She's just sweet as ever and I hope to read many more stories about her in the Yorkie Talk future.
