				   | I started trimming Piper's myself and I was scared more than him when I first started. I sit him on my bathroom counter and usually have to be stern at first when he tries to pull away ( a few stern "Piper"s is enough) and then I bend down close to him and talk softly and kiss his little head while I do the front and by the time I get to the back paws he knows everything is Ok.

				   | Sorry no help but just happy to hear other people have this problem too, I thought lil bear was the only terror when it comes to nail clipping. Course she does the killing me cry and snapping when we brush teeth and clean ears too.

				   | Where do you guys go to get nails clipped for only 5.00?? My vet charges me 12.00 for just nail clipping and PetSmart charges 12.00 for nail clipping and ear cleaning. I would love to find a 5.00 place. And how often do you get their nails cut???

				   | clipping nails Hi all I can't do it either, my Vet does it at the yearly check up for free. And then my groomer does it when I take Smokie there. And it's time to be done again I had no luck or patients. He wiggles out of our hands a towel or whatever. My groomer charges $30 for a bath, cutting the nails, cleaning ears and a cut. And does a great job.Had to laugh, the other day I was clipping my finger nails. Smokie was no where in sight |

				   | I clip Edie's but I don't need to do it often. I find that in the summer months, if she is going on regular walks on pavement, her nails get filed down naturally. No clipping necessary. |

				   | I stand up and hold him in my left hand while I have the clippers in my right hand. DO NOT try to do it while your dog's on your lap. Both of you will end up getting hurt and it's no fun.

				   | I am too scared to do the nails. I let the groomer do them.
