I've been looking into your other posts and I really think YOU'LL benefit from reading up on owning a dog. It sounds like you have no experience and did no research before this pup came into your life. I think in order for you to be a responsible pet owner you should find a Yorkie rescue for this baby before you teach him other bad habits or before he develops other learned behaviors. Then go from there, buy a fish or volunteer... just find some way to teach yourself about really caring for something. After you've learned how to properly care for another living thing then perhaps research what type of pet you'd like. |

I really hope this was some kind of sick joke to get a rise out of yters!!! this is truly unbelievable...no words can describe how I'm feeling right now. I have a few choice words for this OP, due to posting rules I will refrain..... |

Is it 13 months or 14 months?? You've posted a lot of conflicting information. And you yourself stated youmleave the dog outside, but now you don't? Get real. Either take care of your dog the way it's meant to be taken care of or give it to someone who will. |

The OP is trying to get a rise out of YT'ers, as evidenced by the fact (1) complaining profusely about the pup and how inconvenient it is, then (2) only responding to the ONE offer to go pick the puppy up and solve his issue, with how he is not mistreating the pup and apparently is not going to let the pup go to a home that realizes having a pet involves more than throwing food and water down for a dog. Neglect IS abuse, and the writer is aware of this....just trying to stir people up.....I doubt there is even a dog involved here....capt. noonie hits the nail on the head...no point to the original thread except to rile people up. |
Dogs live a long time I rarely reply to threads of this nature... A decade with this dog, that you are not enjoying will be bad for both of you. Accept the offer to have him picked up, and given the life he deserves. Many dogs are less clingy, much to their owners disappointment, there are many hearts and homes this dog would enrich! And who would enrich his life! Please seek one for him!!! |
barkingyorkie, there was an offer from a long time member on this forum if you would like to contact her by P.M. to give the pup a good home. Please give this some consideration. If this situation of owning a pup has not turned out to be what you thought it was going to be, then finding him a loving home would be the best thing for both of you. This pup is going to be with you for at least the next decade, are you sure you want to do this? Providing food and water is not the only thing required from you, you must interact and show care and concern for him. From your posts it sounds like your heart is just not ready for this, so please, at least talk to Yorkiedaze. |
Some how I missed this thread until now. OP, dogs bark just like people speak and cats meow, if you dog is barking he/she is trying to communicate something to you. I will try to say this as gentle as possible but pay attention to your dog (trust me it was said to me many times and in most cases the person was correct). There are many threads on YT that speak to controlling a barking dog and training methods that can be used. My suggestion is search for them, read them and apply some of the methods. In regards to keeping your dog outside; why in the world would you post that statement? This in my opinion if the first thing you need to correct and controlling the barking is a second priority. I agree with Capt Noonie, why did you post this thread are you looking for advice, or are you venting (that is also necessary sometimes with a Yorkie)? |

I'm sorry.... but I think you meant to post in the rehoming forum. I'm sure you can find someone there who would be more than happy to love your dog and put forth the effort that you cannot. |
Every post is made to garner a firey response. Much of the info posted is conflicting right down to in one post the ears are pointy and up and in anothr the ears are floppy, the pup goes from 13 to 14 mos. in minutes and IT is inside and then outside then inside.... Give it up OP. YT'ers there are many other threads waiting for your always valuable input...skip this nonsense. |
I honestly don't think this type of posts deserves a response. The person is more than likely here for their own entertainment. Ignore. |
