Dogs bark because it's their way of communicating. I know it can be frustrating to figure out what she's trying to say, but lucky for you, I speak "dog". She's saying "let me out. Come play with me or give me to someone who will". Throwing a dog in the back yard is much like you being locked in a prison cell. The difference is, you would probably have a cell mate for company and companionship. She has nothing but the wind. So now, I'm going to ask, why did you get a dog in the first place? I understand not always having time for your pet. Circumstances arise or maybe you're just exhausted and need a little down time. I get that. I have that too. But my dogs are in their ex pen or gated into the kitchen happily playing with a toy or each other. And let me tell you, it's not often that happens around here. I think you need to evaluate your expectations in a pet and decide if your lifestyle is conducive to accommodating one. From what little I'm reading here, I'm thinking it isn't. Perhaps this just isn't the time in your life for a Yorkie. My 8am alarm went off, which means, it's time to feed my girls. Yes. We're on a schedule. Yes, my phone tells me what to do and when. I have time to eat, time to potty and time to play. In allocating what happens, when, my girls accommodate my busy schedule but it accommodates their needs. Ie: they're happy when they know what to expect. Get that dog out of the back yard. Disclaimer: all of this was typed pre-coffee. I can't be held responsible for anything that comes out of my mouth before I'm awake. |
Went back and read some of your past postings.....It really seems as if you are not ready for a yorkie or any other dog for that matter. Leaving him in the garage and or outdoors is not the answer. Please do your pup a favor and find him a loving home . He needs some training and someone with patience.:aimeeyork |
This is a joke!!!!! |
This was meant to get a rise out of people...... I have seen in the past that usually when they have no albums or friends, that is what it is..... And it worked. |
I think being clingy is maybe just a yorkie thing, I personally love it. I understand there are times when you need you own space. I think they just love to be near their owners |
This is cruel and mean. I would go crazy if I didn't have Buster and Maggie touching me. Sleep outside? You can't be serious. If this isn't a joke, it's very sad, cruel, mean. Please give the dog away. |
I think, IMHO you are providing entertainment...via your responses for a troll....if I am wrong, eh never mind, I wasn't born yesterday. It is what it is. If this person is genuine, they are hopeless. |

You are so right!!! There are alot of people out there who would love to have this little dog, and if I ever could not care or did not want my dogs "not wanting them would never happen BTW" but it would make me feel better to know I was giving them to someone who wouldlove them!! |
1 Attachment(s) Thinking this may be a better option for you. |
This person did not request advice. It seems the post was for shock value. They obviously have no interest in Yorkies and have no business owning a dog of any kind. |
I don't know if the OP is for real or not, however - I would hope a family member or a friend would see the abuse of what the OP i "saying" he/she is putting the little pup through. If one of my friends or family members would do this to their pet one of 2 things would happen. #1 I would have a new pet or #2 we wouldn't have a relationship with them and I would call animal control. Sad, sad, sad. |
