| Needing help with babie weight. I weigh my babies about 1x per month. When I weighed Lizzie she was comI inv in at 9.5 lb. I know she had gained some weight when brought Abbie home. She is a stress eater. Does anyone know of a good diet plan. She has always been 6 lbs till this past month. I am really concerned about her weight

| Eat a little less and move a little move. I have 2 teapots on diets now. They gained weight when my Zoey was sick primarily. They are losing though now. Cozy has went from 16 pounds to 14 pounds and Lucy has gone from 9.5 pounds to 9 pounds. I cut back their kibble and am giving them fruit/veggies at dinner time.

| Thank you I will try the veggies. I don't mind the teapot. I just worry about gaining 4 lb in a 2 month period

| Mine gained, too due to stress. First I rescued Buddy (he never show a yorkie, cat, or toy before) then I took in emergency foster cats in addition to the 2 fosters I already had. Placed the fosters then found out Zoey was sick and she then passed. The Yorkies are not the only ones who gained some fluff lately. I was up to 15 animals at one point to 1 human. Right now things have settled little- Just the permanent residents 4 dogs and 2 cats right now (fish not included). Fostering is on hold til everyone gets straightened out. Mine love the veggies plus it keeps them fuller longer and keeps me from feeling guilty about depriving them.

I cut back on the kibble amount, changed to diet formula, and added veggies for the evening meal with just a little kibble....had to do this to keep the issue of vomiting when the tummy gets empty. I also moved around the heavier meal to breakfast so they have all day to burn that off....a little celery and apple around 11am, at 6pm, 20 kibble nuggets and 2 tblsp. low sodium canned veggies. Went back down from 6lbs to 4 lbs on my heaviest little girl.....adding veggies helps my guilt also, over "starving them to death", when they want "just a little more".... | |

| Just cut down on the amount you feed, only low fat treats and exercise
