My furkids Donating Member | I took one of hubbys white socks...cut just below the band...so you just have the top of the sock and slid it from her back legs around her belly over the incision...Sadie didn't touch hers but, Lillie kept licking hers and it started to open...this worked GREAT! and she could still do her business with no problems hope this helps!

| hmmm not sure if covering the wound is ok...you're supposed to keep it dry (air dry), better ask your vet if it's ok to cover it. Mom to Hot Rod makes the kissecollars, a must have for spay/neuter surgeries & perfect for grooming! The Kiss-E Collar

| I ordered Mollie a little one peace long John set that she never liked to wear. I used it when Lizzie was fixed and it will get used again with Abbie. I don't know if they even make them any more |

| I used Onsies for Tink. They worked wonderfully. She weighed about 6 pounds and I bought her 3-6 months. I cut a small hole for her tail. When it was time for her to go outside to potty, I just unsnapped the crotch and rolled it up couple times. She was able to potty, get wiped and the Onsie would snap right back down. I'm a stay at home mom so I was able to be right here with her 24/7. As for covering the incision, Onsies are cotton and "breathe" really well. I also made sure they did not fit her snugly. Plenty of air was able to get to the incision. I had zero problems and her incision healed perfectly. Good luck! |
