| Bathing your yorkie How often should I give my yorkie a bath? I just wanna make sure I'm not over washing him so it doesn't cause dryness. |

If you get good dog shampoo, and truly really really rinse it out, shampoos should not dry out the coat; also Yorkies need a conditioner. This may seem excessive but count on washing out that shampoo for 5 plus minutes. If you think you have all the suds, rinse again for another minute or two. Remember their ears, their tummy and privates; all the way under their armpits.

| Hello and welcome, I bathe Miss Priss once a week but some may wait for 2 weeks, it is according to how dirty they are. I do use a grooming spray daily when I comb her..She also goes to her groomer once a month but several on here take care of that themselves, so it is really up to you and your preferences...

| We bathe once a week too. Our Katie likes to roll in nasty smelly things too. I just like to keep them nice a clean. They do share the bed with me after all. LOL

| I bathe Gracie once a week. I use an all natural shampoo and conditioner that does not strip the skin and coat. I also use a spray conditioner in between baths especially on her ends if they start to tangle. I got this dog sprayer thing that I set up in my kitchen sink so I could rinse her better and get it done more quickly. I was going to get it on Amazon but I got it for 20% off during a sale at PetCo. (They are having a 20% off online sale this weekend) Rinse Ace 3-Way Pet Faucet Sprayer at PETCO |

Max Main's Mamma Donating YT Member | I bathe once a week as well. Max is a dirty dog and rolls in stuff too. I use Yorkie Splash and Shine and absolutely LOVE the smell. It lasts a while.

| i take a 30min-1hr walk with Ziggy everyday so I wash him every week. I find that on day 7/8 he really does need a bath. I also brush him out everyday with his home made grooming products soo i think that helps, but because he sleeps in my bed, i really need him clean, so once a week (every thursday) he gets a bath/shower

| I give all three weekly baths and more often than that if needed. I also use disposable wipes to clean those unmentionable areas. They sleep with us every night so they are kept extra clean. I am washing and brushing abbie more since shr is loosing her puppy coat. I have hair every where right now lol |
