| How much does your yorkie sleep? How much does your yorkie sleep. Milo is almost 10 months old. He use to play by himself more but now he sleeps. He will play when I am playing with him or when we are outside but if I am busy he just sleeps.

Max Main's Mamma Donating YT Member | Max is almost 7 months and sleeps a lot too! He is VERY active in the evenings but sleeps throughout the day and all through the night. I have other dogs to encourge him though. Are you worried about this?

| No not really. I know he is getting older and he's not going to play all day. He does follow me around the house when I am doing things but I think he just gets tired and goes and lays down.

| I think it's more bored than tired. Maggie gets up around 10:30 and goes to lay in the window or in front of the door. She sleeps and watches....if somebody or something is out there she will let me know, otherwise she is snoozing. I keep a nice puffy bed in front of the storm door that she can lay in with her head on the edge/raised part and look out. It is a full view door which I highly recommend for guarding of the house by yorkies. If I go in the kitchen pantry she will appear with a hopeful look...she hears the door slide! If hubby is home and we are active and in and out she wants to be where we are and doesn't sleep so much. When it's just me she barely does a thing all day, except for walks or sometimes she will bring me a ball. Her more active time is after dinner when her daddy is home to play with her. Maybe it's also because it's after dinner and she has more energy then. |

| Dexter is 5 1/2 months now and sleeps most of the time as well. He plays by himself or brings me every toy he has to play with him when he wants, but then usually just lays down and naps half way through playing |

| That's about the age when Georgie started relaxing and sleeping more. He has occasional spurts of energy and will play if we are playing with him, but other than that he is resting. Oh the life of a furbaby that is King of the house

| Cruz was always a good sleeper too. Even when he was a puppy. I remember waking him up at 4am to go out and pee because I didnt want him to go in his crate (this is while we were training). During the day he would take a few naps but when he wanted to play he would let you know! ha! Now he's 3, and there are still some mornings when he jumps on top of us to wake us up or he "sleeps in". He always takes a morning nap though. Its hilarious! If its the weekend and were up it takes him about an hour to realize its not a work day and then we see him go upstairs for his morning nap, regardless of what we are doing! | Joel is perfect because he's really active if i'm playing with him, or if were playing a game or training, but he could easily sleep all day if he wanted. I could not walk him for a whole week and he wouldn't care or have pent up energy. Actualy, yesterday he slept ALL day, didn't even have one play session he just went from room to room sleeping. I like that he can easily turn it on or off depending on how I feel, LOL Last edited by ilovejoel; 11-08-2012 at 03:18 PM. |

| Blazer likes to sleep a lot, too, now. He's 5 months. He has major play time spurts but those are getting fewer and shorter, it seems. My big dog has always been a "lazy bum" too so it is fun seeing the boys play together. But it is even cuter seeing them sleeping curled up together! One of these days I WILL be able to get a picture of that!

| Lexi is one year now. She is up about 7 and wants to play. She rarely just lays down to sleep by herself. She is following me around all day. At night she settles down about 10, but she will be up all day long unless we aren't at home and then I am pretty certain she sleeps. Wow, it seems like most yorkies sleep all day except mine! |
