I think it's more bored than tired. Maggie gets up around 10:30 and goes to lay in the window or in front of the door. She sleeps and watches....if somebody or something is out there she will let me know, otherwise she is snoozing. I keep a nice puffy bed in front of the storm door that she can lay in with her head on the edge/raised part and look out. It is a full view door which I highly recommend for guarding of the house by yorkies.

If I go in the kitchen pantry she will appear with a hopeful look...she hears the door slide! If hubby is home and we are active and in and out she wants to be where we are and doesn't sleep so much. When it's just me she barely does a thing all day, except for walks or sometimes she will bring me a ball.

Her more active time is after dinner when her daddy is home to play with her. Maybe it's also because it's after dinner and she has more energy then.
