| Dog smells in house Any tips on stopping your house smell of dog? I do have a plug in, but worry it will affect his nose - Ellington sneezes a lot anyhow! |

| Not sure because Ahi doesn't smell like anything at all. Just whatever she was bathed in. My hubby always asks, "why doesn't she smell like a dog?" lol So our house doesn't smell like anything. Only the puppy pad smells like pee but thats it. I'm sure others will chime in soon.

| Georgie gets a bath every Friday with minksheen shampoo and is sprayed with water and coconut oil mix. Our house never smells and I am a nut about it. We also have a Boxer that gets a bath every 2 weeks. I think just regular bathing and grooming should do the trick.

| What sort of smell? Is it like wet dog, or is it pee and stuff. The pet shop has some stuff to use for removing smells from carpet etc. Fabreze do a pet odor remover for fabrics and you can shampoo the dog

| Perhaps he just needs a good wash. I have been putting it off, as I want him to relax and settle in, before I start stressing him out again! I think its also because he tends to wipe his face on the sofa after eating! I have started wiping his face for him, to try and lessen the chicken gloop going everywhere! I have also started wiping him after we've been out (back ends) so that may help too. It seems to just be a smell.......maybe I need to get something to brush through his coat, that smells nice but is natural. |

| None of my dogs smell at all except one. He is a little red poodle,he just smells like a little boy when he has been outside. He is 10yrs old and it isnt gonna go away. He is just our little stinky Skittles. The carpets get cleaned every 6mos,the dogs get washed every week to 10 days. Other than Skittles there is no doggie smell here. Even my friends that dont have pets have commented that they never smell dog here,,,except for Skittles and you have to pick him up for that. I dont really burn candles or use airfreshener,I have really bad allergys to sents. |

| he he! I hope so! My best friend is a groomer, so I'm hoping she will give him a fab little wash. She is desperate to tidy up his poorly cut coat too...but I quite like his shaggy look ;-) |

| That is awesome that your best friend is a groomer. I had to take Georgie to 2 places before I found his current groomer. My poor buddy got clipper burn on his private areas at the 2nd groomer Anyways, I think a nice bath will do the trick for Ellington

| He he, yes I am lucky I guess! I'm helping her out tomorrow with the dogs she looks after in the days (she does daycare at her home, grooms and walks) as she has slightly too many at lunchtime! I'm hoping she'll trade me for some Ellington time! ;-) |

| Thanks, is that an actual spray you're buying, or a spray you're mixing up yourself? I'd love to know what was safe and cheap to spray him with. |
