My baby slept for 12+ hours!

I opened Maggie's crate door today at 10:30 and she just looked at me. I reach in to pet her and she starts licking me. She didn't come out for a good 5 minutes and then it was straight to her bed in front of the window! I trained my skin kids to sleep late, we had an 8:00 rule when they were little. We taught them what 8:00 was and they couldn't bother us until them!

I don't remember how old maggie was...Could be close to 1. Hubby used to make noise when he left for work so she would whine and want to be let out, she would then join me up in the bed once he left. Now he is more quiet and I think she has learned that it's not really time to get up anyway, so she just sleeps in, longer than me!

And at what age does this happen.....if I could get mine to sleep until 7am and not wake me up in the middle of the night ....I would be estatic.....she does nap though but it is usually after dinner....maybe that is why she doesn't sleep at night

Romeo will be 3 in June but I don't think it has anything to do with age :-) I am a 4am riser as I like to get an early start, and he will usually burrow in bed until I am done dressing and ready to start work (which I do from home) then he plops on my desk and go right back to sleep. On weekends though I let HIM dictate how late I sleep and lately it's been LATER, and LATER!!!
