I opened Maggie's crate door today at 10:30 and she just looked at me. I reach in to pet her and she starts licking me. She didn't come out for a good 5 minutes and then it was straight to her bed in front of the window! I trained my skin kids to sleep late, we had an 8:00 rule when they were little. We taught them what 8:00 was and they couldn't bother us until them!
I don't remember how old maggie was...Could be close to 1. Hubby used to make noise when he left for work so she would whine and want to be let out, she would then join me up in the bed once he left. Now he is more quiet and I think she has learned that it's not really time to get up anyway, so she just sleeps in, longer than me! |
