| My first night wasn't with a puppy, but with a rescue boy. I think I was more nervous than he was! Quite a bit of panicked whining, which he only does if he's about to bust with pee! But once I'd got into bed, he hopped right on top, and didn't move all night. We woke up early in the morning, as he had a poorly belly, so he did a poo on the floor. He shook afterwards as he doesn't like going inside. Good luck with your new addition! |

| All my babies go to their new homes crate trained and e-pen trained....I try to discourage puppies so little and young, sleeping in the bed, because I am afraid you will fall asleep and the baby will wake up and fall out of the bed...a fall from the bed to the floor on a baby that little/young will seriously injure/kill the baby. When they get older and larger, and you get a ramp for them to use, I am all far community sleeping.....I sleep with 5!!! |

| Most puppies will cry, whine, yip and even yelp the first few nights, they go to their new home. You can try all the stuff people have done since the first kidnapped pup slept by a cave fire. I can assure you pups only do for a few nights (0 to 5 nights being the norm. in my experience.) Some pups are not crying because of lonely feelings or fear at all; but just winding down. Some human babies do this too. My best advice is ignore and tough it out. I think all pups should sleep safely in their crate until they are fully potty trained. I think there is a huge advantage to crate training. ALL dogs have to be crated at some point. If they think of their crate as a safe place it greatly reduces stress in stressful situations.

| how do you like your puppy apartment? I ordered one and have it, but don`t have the puppy yet, too young. Does it help potty train like they say? |
