If it disturbs your sleep, why not let Biddy stay up with your fiance and let him bring her to bed when he comes? | |

YorkieTalk Newbie! | ![]() HELP!!! My Jeter is 4 months old...and last night he did something he's never done before...He barked all night... I WANTED TO DIE! ( I don't crate, he has his bed and is free to roam the room) I got 2 hours of sleep and now I am at work DEAD. I felt horrible, because he has NEVER barked at night, he hardly barks at all. Always sleeps thru the night quietly. So I gave him food, thinking ok perhaps he is hungry...he ate it up and still wanted more... which was also weird, because he ate plenty throughout the day... But about 5 minutes later the barking started again. I turned on the lights and yelled no! He would stop...I'd turn the lights off...and then he did it again, I turned on the light to see if maybe he was barking at something in the room that was new to him...he kept looking around as if to stare at something in the air, but nothing was there (Which of course creeped me out, because I'm thinking oh great GHOST LOL) but all kidding aside, he wouldn't stop... He finally gave it up at 3am. I spoke to my dad this morning and he said perhaps he was in pain or something...something bothered him? I can't put my finger on it...and I HOPE this doesn't become routine...any ideas what could have caused this...and if he does it again, any suggestions on how to correct the behavior. HELP!!!!!! He is also wee wee pad trained...and the past few days he has not been using his pad..he's been going on the other side of the room on the floor... I am falling asleep at work now- Help, help help.... all suggestions are appreciated. |
