| Puppy Shower Just found out that my friend is going to have me a puppy shower. She wanted to know if anyone has any good ideas as to what to do. Games? Food? She has a recipe for people kibble. Any more ideas? It is gonna be so much fun. Everyone will be bringing their dogs. The yard is fenced in, so they can play and have fun. |

| It sounds awesome but if your puppy is gonna be there and doesn't have all there shots I would not be having them around other dogs.

| What a great idea! Never thought of it before, so I don't have any suggestions, but it does sound like a lot of fun. You'll have to take some pics and tell us all about it.

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | Oh how fun! I want a puppy shower! When I'm throwing a party I love to search for ideas on google images, etsy, and pinterest. You could type in puppy party or if you have a theme (ie pink zebra like me searching for ks first bday party), search that theme. Also don't only look at dog things, look at baby or kid party ideas too. Many are adaptable for pups too. I've found several people ideas to put my own spin on things like decorations, cakes for human guests and doggy guests, party favors, and so on. Also check out your local library on books of games to play with your dog for some game ideas. Hope that helps some! Do share pix with us!

| I will definitely share pics. Should I let her open her gifts or would that teach her to tear things up? |

I have a dog breed scramble game, letters are all mixed up and then you figure out each breed name. My sister sent me one that looks like big crossword puzzle of mixed up letters that is also a dog breed game. At our last meetup, we sat in a circle for introduction and after we said our names I had everyone tell us if there dog was in High School what they would be like, LOL I got that idea from a thread here, but it was good for some laughs. You could also have a pet trick contest
