|  new to the group.... and yorkies!! Hi everyone!! My name is heather and im a new yorkie owner. My baby's name is sir bentley zagato... But we just call him bentley  i got him last thursday and i am in LOVE. But of course i do have questions... My main concern at the moment is VITAMINS. I bought some pro sense puppy vitamins from walmart but im not sure if i should give them or not?? Any opinions??? If i need to post ingredients i can. Thanks everyone!! |

| Hi there and welcome...not sure about the vitamins, I always felt if you fed a good quality food, extra vitamins weren't needed. Well my vet has said that too. Would love to see pics of Bentley..

| Welcome to YT  I would recommend talking to your vet about vitamins and I agree with Joyce if you feed them the right food vitamins aren't always necessary. There is a wealth of knowledge here it's a great place to be for those who love their furbabies

| I am assuming your new friend is a puppy and eating puppy food, right? If he is healthy and eating a healthy diet he may not need additional vitamins. If he appears deficient in some area maybe he would need a specific type of supplement. A lot depends on what you feed your pup and how well he eats it. |

| Unless a dog is sick or has medical problems there should be no need for vitamins he should be getting everything he needs from his puppy food. The first thing you should do when you get a puppy or any dogs is take it to the vet for a check up so you can ask your vet the same thing. I also would make sure the vitamins where not not made in China.
