Unless a dog is sick or has medical problems there should be no need for vitamins he should be getting everything he needs from his puppy food. The first thing you should do when you get a puppy or any dogs is take it to the vet for a check up so you can ask your vet the same thing. I also would make sure the vitamins where not not made in China.
