It always 'feels' funny at first but after you've said it a few times, it'll seem normal to say "Bee-vah". 'course, joking around you can say it however your little heart desires...

Yes and yeppers...I still sometimes want to say Beaver or Brewer like the people who make beer...German's drink a lot of beer and our mini schnauzer loves to try to get Dad's beer so I'm just saying if we all start saying Brewer...

Oh this was fun to see. You are all too funny.

Here in California, I just call them puppy, puppy and soon I hope to see a few new ones to post on my website. Actually having gone to Germany twice now it is Beevair for the correct pronounceation.lol
